The Canadian Government is taking steps in re-opening its borders to foreign travellers and we at Arluk Outfitters are preparing for your arrival!
What you need to know:
– Effective August 9th: Fully vaccinated American citizens and permanent residents who are currently residing in the United States will be allowed to enter Canada for non-essential travel.
– September 7th: The Canadian government intends to open its borders to any traveller who is fully vaccinated with one of the Government of Canada-accepted vaccines. Opening is dependant on the domestic COVID-19 situation remaining favourable.
– All travellers MUST use the ArriveCAN app or web portal to submit their travel information and vaccination records.
– All travellers, regardless of vaccination status, will still require a pre-entry COVID-19 molecular test result.
– Some provinces and territories may have their own entry restrictions in place. Be sure to check and follow both federal, provincial, territorial restrictions and requirements before travelling.
