About Arluk Outfitters
Arluk Outfitters is a Newfoundland hunting and angling outfitter on the island's west coast, near Gros Morne National Park.
Who we are
Hunting and angling, in wild country.
We focus on guided moose hunting and on fly fishing for Atlantic salmon and brook trout.
We also offer caribou hunts, and black bear hunting is available too.
A team of guides and hospitality staff looks after guests at every lodge and camp.
How we work

- Our camps and lodges sit in wilderness reached by helicopter and, in some places, by ATV.
- Helicopters
- Arluk has two dedicated helicopters.
- After a hunt
- Meat recovery is helicopter-assisted.
- Lodges
- We operate 15+ remote lodges, with overnight tent sites in even more remote areas.
- Tent camps
- Hunts also run from overnight tent camps.
- Hospitality
- Meals are prepared by on-site cooks.

- Our hunting and fishing sites are near Gros Morne National Park.
- The river
- The Main River, where we fish, was designated a Canadian Heritage River in 2001.
- Wildlife
- The land is home to moose, black bear, the Northern Peninsula caribou herd and the Newfoundland marten, a species at risk.
